History of the field
The Kapustianske granite deposit is one of the largest and most famous in Ukraine. It is located in the Kirovograd region, not far from the village of Kapustino. The development of this deposit began in the mid-20th century, and since then, granite from the Kapustianske quarry has gained popularity due to its unique characteristics.
Characteristics of granite
Granite from the Kapustianske deposit is a red rock characterised by rich shades and high decorative value. It has a fine-grained structure, which gives the material additional strength and resistance to external influences.
Mineral composition
- Quartz - to 30%.
- Feldspar - 60-70%.
- Microcline and biotite - 5-10%.
Physical and mechanical properties
- Density - 2.65-2.70 g/cm³.
- Compressive strength at the end of the day - 280-300 MPa.
- Water absorption - no more than 0.2%.
- Frost resistance - over 100 cycles.

Cabbage granite is widely used in construction, design and manufacturing. Its high decorative effect and durability make this material indispensable for:
