Ascension

Description

The single granite monument "Ascension" is a true work of art that embodies the idea of eternal life, peace of mind and spiritual upliftment. Made of polished granite of two shades - noble black and green and rich reddish-brick, this monument harmoniously combines the depth of colours with the symbolism of forms.

The monument is based on a laconic slab symbolising the earth's firmament - the foundation of life and the place of rest. There is space left for wreaths, fresh flowers and memorial lamps, which represent respect and warm memories of the deceased. The laconicism of this part adds restraint and majesty to the overall composition.

A graceful slab resembling a candle flame rises from the base, a symbol of the soul ascending to heaven. At the bottom of the slab there is a place for a memorial epitaph, which immortalises the most precious words dedicated to the memory of the deceased.

A majestic cross with a gilded crucifix stands on the side of the monument, reminding us of spiritual faith, eternal memory and hope for a meeting in the afterlife. This element adds solemnity and deep meaning to the monument.
